Don't hide mine. When I go in a shop, he often is with me, and when I take my purchases to the check out, he always asks "Is that all you are getting??? Are you sure? Maybe you better get some ____ (you can fill in the blank) just in case."
In fact he just stopped at Joanns and picked up some thread and a ruler for me.

DH is a jem!! I never hide my stash. Usually he does not pay attention to what I buy -- after 43 years we trust each other. We go to car shows, sometimes driving 1000 miles and he always allows extra time so I can hit the quilt shops on the way. For my birthday and Christmas, he always gives me a gift certificate to my favorite LQS. When my BFF could no longer go on the quilt shop hops, he started coming with me (but I had to make sure to only go where he could get a good meal when he got hungry).

All he wants is for me to do something with all I buy....I seem to look, buy and look and buy more. He never says anything to me except, start sewing......Have good intentions of sewing but wow, not enough time for all of it and be on here too....this board will take me hours and I should be sewing......lol. I also am accumulating for retirement, will not be able to spend as much then. Would rather get what I want and not just what I need now. That even includes my AccuQuilt2 I bought at a quilt show three months ago and have not used it yet but getting ready to when KathyAire figures out my quilt for me to do.....lol. She already has fig. out the center squares, etc. Cannot wait.

I am married to the best guy ever! Perfect? No,maybe not . . . he doesn't like to shop . . . for anything. He's not "ooey-gooey" romantic, but has proved his love in so many ways through our many years together. He is supportive of any effort I make to do anything and so complimentary of my choices for quilts.
