Yes QB members are awesome and I am so glad someone was able to solve the problem and advice. Now I would like to know the measurements and how I would go about making this lovely one block quilt. Please tell me what size of each fabric to cut, Maybe I can put it together without extraordinary detailed instructions! Thanks in advance for your help!

Would it be easier to make flying geese on the sides instead of half square triangles? I guess that would depend on how good one is at FG as opposed to HST but it would cut down on the number of seams.

MTS you are great at figuring this math for blocks. I am going to remember just who to ask if I run into a problem. It takes me forever to figure out just how I need to do one with changing sizes. Hope you don't mind if I give you a pm sometime when I get in a bind. Thanks in advance. Gerbie
