Without sashing you'll get a secondary design. Try looking at a block with one of those "double" mirrors. You take 2 mirrors and tape them together and place your block between them. Voila, magic!!!

I really like your blocks. What is the name of the pattern that you used???? I to think you should use a different color sashing rather than the maroon.
