What a sewing room. A sewing room to die for. What is it that you put your fabric on Polar Wrap. I don't know what that is. Thx for sharing.

gcathie-Chicopee is only about 1.5 hours from me. It will be hot and humid in July when you visit.

lgeorge-The fabric sheets are from Polar Notions. They are acid-free plastic sleeves. You can see them at www.polarnotions.com They are wonderful. I love the way they look, the amount of space that is freed up from using them, easy to use. I was able to put on 5 yards of fabric on one sheet.

hoagiesj- The size from Polar Notions is 7 1/2 x 11 3/4. The fit in most standard size book cases. My bookcase has adjustable shelves, so it worked great for me.

i love your sewing room and the plastic sheets are awsesome. Ii'll have to look into cutting up some foam core board....i just looked at the website and they really aren't all that expensive, basically $1 each. Maybe I'll have to splurge one day!

I, too, could have a sewing space like that....but I'd have to get rid of hte kids and the hubby, and I don't think that would go over all that well!

What are "Polar Notions" fabric sheets.
Your fabric looks like a quilt shop all lined up so beautifully. Would love to give it a shot.

Your fabrics are so neatly stacked. How do you do that? Is it cardboard or something inside to make them stand up? Beautiful sewing room. all my fabrics are in boxes

If you go to www.polarnotions.com, you can see the fabric sheets there. You are right, they aren't that expensive, but if you have more fabric than I do, it can get very expensive. There was a lot of the fabric that I didn't wrap because it was less then a yard, but if I had wrapped all my fabric it would have been much more. I took all my fabric that was less than a yard, folded it and I put it in one of my drawers in the cutting table. I bought 400 sheets, used all but 10.

I am happy to hear that everybody enjoys my room as much as I do. Thank you again.
