I'd like to toss out a HUGE thank you to KATFISH.. I am extremely grateful to her BIG 'donation' to my tape fund.. AS you guys know I tape your packages to ensure you get your packages with contents intact.. Ive seen the way the packages have come in to me and this is my lil reassurance that even if it goes thru the postage mail machine from he!!- it may take a beating on the outside but the inside is still all there..

So thanks Katfish... I appreciate your thoughtfulness... I am touched beyond tears my friend.. :)

Was working along nicely last night. Reached out and grabbed the rotary cutter.....by the blade

I'll live. It's not a bad cut, but like a papercut it is painful. If I hadn't of pulled my hand back so quickly I think it would have sliced a tiny bit of meat clean off! Had to stop for the night in case it started bleeding again. Plan on trying to finish my blocks tonight, tomorrow night at the latest and getting in the mail Friday.

This has taught me to try harder to be more careful about closing the darned thing! I tend to drop it occasionally and if ever it hits my toe, or a dog or cats tail...they would be goners for sure!

Yikes.. I have the retractable Olfa one.. It only opens when you squeeze the handle and retracts when you let go.. I figured it was safer if my lil one is ever around and started grabbing things off my table.. I was good at keeping her out of 'Moms quilt maker room' lol... that's what she calls my sewing room..

Put a band-aide and some neosporin on it, it will heal quicker..

i have NuSkin on it and that keeps it clean and dry. Doesn't hurt much today. Yeah, I have Fiskar cutters. Guess I need to invest in the retractable ones
