After watching Suzanne McNeill's youtube video, I ordered two of her books; 3-Seams Squares and Twist and Turn
My husband went and bought me fabric precuts from Walmart, when it all went on sale so they can put back the fabric dept. He bought one package of every purple fabric they had. It's too funny because I'm not a "purple" person. I've picked the batik and tie dye fabric he bought to make him a quilt. I'm using the Mother Earth pattern from the Twist and Turn book; it's a good pattern to use, it only calls for two fabrics for the main part of the quilt along with border fabrics.
He will remember buying that fabric for me!!! Chris

That is a very nice quilt, it took me a bit to get what you were talking about. I'm a little slow, but I got it!

Thank you for the picture of your quilt.

I am so glad that some of you are taking the challenge of doing something new and out of your comfort zone. I have used this method in several quilts, it is so easy to get a new look.
