I have a buckwheat pillow that I warm in the microwave and have not had any problems for the last 4 years I've had it. You just have to pay attention to the heat settings and time. I always put a wet towel in the microwave to make a warm compress for my aching joints.

This sounds like a great idea. It would be so much easier than using pot holders. Have you or your friend tried them out to test them? Love to see the follow up to this thread.

This is the best idea I have seen on the board for a long time. Thanks!

I use potholders all the time to put under bowls to reheat. Never had a problem except they are too small and it is hard to grab the bowl. These look perfect! They will have to be all cotton, just like the potato and corn cookers.

Can't wait for your tutorial. I would love to make some for here and for each of my daughters families.
