Yes He Did! And He answered in a big way.
We had a wonderful soaking rain that started
in the night Friday and went until mid-day
Saturday. Then, last night, we had some more.
God is so faithful! And for everyone who has been
and is praying for rain, please don't stop. So many
other areas need it, and we still need a lot more
to really replenish the earth. Thank you Lord for
what you have done!

We're still waiting here in the Houston/Sugar Land area. I just got back from driving to Austin, San Antonio and then the reverse route with my MIL and grandkids. It was very brown along the way. I was so sad to see a cow in a field with absolutely no green that I could see. I hope the rain blows our way, too, but so glad that you have received it!

Please share with us in Houston. City Council is voting on water conservation issues this week!

None in the Houston area. I don't think I've seen it so dry, since 1980! At least today wasn't quite so hot... below 100, instead of over 100... and sort of overcast. Maybe rain tomorrow. Say a prayer!

It's about time. Lucky you. Some areas still no rain. We don't have that problem in central Illinois.
