Good luck with your money problems
We both need surgery, so our money things are not good either.
As for where I sew, I have a sewing room

My son moved out and I moved in! The room is pretty small, and if he moves back I will go back down to my basement, which is unfinished, maybe I'll do with all you gals are doing, a little here and there. With quilters, I know where there is a place there's a way!!

My Significant Other and I have a small condo and he had the only upstairs space available as his computer room even before i moved in. When i started sewing i used a card table in the living room for awhile, then moved everything down to the basement. Once i get a little more light, it'll be perfect.

I could never put everything away when I'm done because I'm never done. I have a bedroom for sewing and I can close the door and nobody sees the mess.

When I moved out of my last house the real estate agent let prospective buyers into my sewing room at their own risk. You could barely open the door.

I do everything in my LR/DR combo. I have my cutting mat and sewing machine on my dining room table. I live alone and could use one of the bedrooms, but I like to be out in the living area.

I set my sewing up in one half of my garage. Be careful who you rent to that machine and supplies might not be their when you go for them. LOL Josie

I'm in the process of turning half of my master bedroom into a small sewing studio. I don't have much stash but I do have four machines that need a home. I have to get another 6 foot folding table and I'll be good to go.

I sew in a little corner of our bedroom, just had the MIL move in so I lost my sewing room. It works cuz I love to sew but putting it away at night is a pain in the butt.
