Don't expect your non-quilting friends to applaud your latest endeavour. They really don't get it and couldn't care less--unfortunately for them!
There it is " I am a normal person--for a quilter." All my friends think I am consumed with quilting and this board. Maybe so, But I am normal--for a quilter.

I don't have enough fingers to count the # of timies that I have sewn a binding on and kept checking the bobbin, just praying it will be enough to finish without having to stop and wind a new bobbin. It just breaks my rhythm.

I went to my eye Dr with my project in hand, to show him what I am wanting to do. He gave me a RX for a pair that are just great. They have Rx for close up and then an RX for watching tv. They and He are wonderful. Besides that I can see to shave my legs also. Why doesn't some one invent glasses that don't fog up and have tiny wipers on them

I can so relate to your list.
Whenever you plan to make a quilt from your stash there is always one more fabric to buy so you can make it.
Everyone is suddenly helpless when you sit down to sew.
You can sew with a dog on your lap and others at your feet.

WARNING!!! WORST VIRUS EVER TO HIT QUILTING BOARD! The BSTC Virus (Butt Stuck To Chair). The virus glues you to your chair for several hours at a time! No housework will be done, children will starve, the cat will not eat, and the dog will not get its walk. You lose contact with the outside world; your butt goes numb! Warn all friends ~ it's too late for me ~ SAVE YOURSELVES!!!! Mwahahahaha!

Aaaahhhh, but that problem goes away when you turn 50 and can't get up in the morning without putting on your glasses. You won't lose them then! Aging does have its advantages.
