    My Dad taught school in Tillamook in the early 1950s. I'll have to show my Mom and see if this tradition existed then.

    Wish I had this info 3 weeks ago. Visited my home town of Portland and just had to have some cheese!! Would have been fun to look for the quilt blocks along the road.

    You know what? I am going to make one for my house. You have inspired me to try one. I have the perfect spot in mind. And if that works out, I will make one for charity.
