I've been doing the same thing. I found a thin board in the pile and I was wondering if 1/4 " is to thin.

I came home from a quilt garden tour last weekend and my family had painted a barn mural for me. I was so surprised and happy. My daughter drew it out and had the rest of the family building and painting. It was on our barn with a sheet over it along with a party with lots of friends. My avatar shows it on the barn.
I love it!

This is toooo cool !!!!!!!!! I have been meaning to ask my DH to paint a quilt block on our "barn"!! Will get hm to help me decide on pattern!! It is just a small out building but plenty big enough for a quilt block...maybe one on each side of the roof...

my choice too, as my barn also has DH's woodshop in it. Seems fitting.
