try this using 2 thick ones instead of many thin ones.

there are loads of instructions. google "fused recycled plastic bags". just replace 2 heavy duty ones for many thin ones.

I know that a lady at the local craft fair makes really great tote bags out of the plastic bags that Ole Roy dry dog food comes in from WalMart and they are great looking. She puts a flap on it and velco so it is completely waterproof. Her daughter got tired of her cloth book bags getting wet so she made her one of the dog food bags. Really cute if you line up the dog right.

They make great tote bags for grocerys - especially refrigerated and frozen goods! No drips and helps keep from thawing or getting too warm in the car enroute home. Sew handles on them and you're off and rolling - but wash first - need good soap to remove the grease - if any in bag (like DogFood and CatFood) - Dawn for dishes works great - and hang out on line to drip dry upside down...

One of the quilt magazines had tote bag made out of dog and cat food bags. It's why I bought it. I'll look for it in a few days. Just had surgery on my right hand this morning. Bandage comes off on Sat., will be able to do more with it then.
