I love that umbrella fabric. Did you buy it on line? Do you have a link so I can find it?

I love your husband's idea. Look on line at free printable coloring sheets. You may find what you want. Then applique it onto the umbrella fabric.

I've used iron on vinyl for picnic table covers and mats with great success.

I bought it at Hancock's in Midlothian, Virginia

You print something onto fabric? That must be something I don't have the equipment for...

I just made a purse using the vinyl on the bottom pieces, so I can just wipe it clean when it gets dirty. Worked beautifully.
