Wow, fantastic middles! Patti, all that trapunto is such a lot of extra work, but it shows up well in your pic, well done.

Flossy, I know that yours are brighter than that pic, but they all look so good together. Now your eye is done, and visitors gone, perhaps you will be up for getting them together.

Judy, love the choice of yellow in your narrow border - it pulls your blocks together very nicely.

Choosing what to do in that narrow border isn't easy, since we have all been looking at Aie's version so long. It will be interesting to see all the various solutions as they start to be posted here.

I'm considering doing some hand embroidery on the orange border if enough of it shows when I sew the block border on it.

I just love looking at all the variations...we have a pretty darn creative group going here!

I've been thinking of that too, but will wait until I get all the blocks around it. maybe just some scrolly swirls or something simple.

Judy, thats what I'm thinking too...something swirly maybe....just simple. Can't take away from the trapunto and the blocks. I'll have to see what it looks like when the whole top is finished. It might be so small at that point that it will look better plain...we'll see, won't we??? LOL!
