I have both read the book and gone to the movie. I find it interesting the comments that people have while waiting to tile out of the theater. I would love to see it get some awards. I hope it does. Jan

I saw the movie this afternoon and really liked it. The only problem was I could not hear a lot of the dialog. I thought it was me, but after the movie, my two daughters said they had the same problem. I don't think they had the volume loud enough.

It was so good. Three of us girls went and we laughed and cried. The characters were great as well as the actresses!

I read the book and liked it. The movie was good, too. I didn't care so much for the actress who played "Skeeter," but she wasn't bad.

Yes! I have read the book and seen the movie and loved them both. What a great story and the actors picked for each part were perfect. If you haven't seen it or read the book, Do Both!!

I saw it last week. Thought it was good and learned a great deal about the South back in the 50's and 60's! I think it is the same today, some people treat their "help" like family and some are terrible to them!!!

Loved the movie. I'm really not a movie person but did go see this. Worth the money.

Saw it last week. Loved it - really stayed with the book. I read the book last year and was so excited about the movie coming out. One of the best I've seen in a long time.
