special feature fabric first, then add additional pieces until I have enough. I make up up some of mine, so there really isn't a pattern.....it evolves :)

I usually pick one the main fabric and choose fabrics I have to go with it. I love florals for main one but, depends on which sex I'm making it for. Then I go through patterns to see which I want to make. Once in a while I pick out a pattern first.

Both - sometimes I find a pattern and then buy the fabric and other times I find fabric and have to make something with it so I find the pattern after. No rhyme or reason, whatever I see first!

Both ways. Sometimes I find beautiful fabric, then either find or create a quilt pattern. Other times i find a pattern and look for fabric in my stash and at the store.
