Crisp mornings, what could be a better way to start your day? I love fall mornings and wish they could last all year.

my ideal year would be 2-3 months of spring, 1 month of a warm summer, 8 months of fall and 2 or 3 weeks of winter.

I'm sorry - I'm not ready for Fall. I don't think we had enough summer, because the spring rain lasted until just before Irene slammed us with flooding rain. Normally, I'm not a complainer - and I'm not whining. I just want more than an Indian summer. I want a real summer!

I love the fall. We usually get gorgeous colors here. This year, probably not. We have had SUCH a HOY summer and dry. I love the cool then cold weather. Flannel pants and socks. Yum. Quilting time.

Fall here is most welcome. Please come quickly! It will mean the end of too many days in the 90's. Of course, that also means I have no excuse to not do the various garden jobs that need to be done.
