I have the 12x12 and I love it. There are slots every 1/2". Makes cutting strips extremely easy. HOWEVER, I have made a few cutting errors, so that when I cut multiple strips I put a piece of making tape over all the holes I DON'T want to cut in. That way I am sure to get the right size cut instead of one that is 1/2" to skinny.
(The reason the current baby quilt I am making is 4x5 blocks instead of the 5x5 blocks the pattern calls for)

I've seen them . . . and they scared me. Watching the YouTube, mentioned above, made it look like a *must have*. I'm new to computers and quilting. You are all a Godsend. Thank you *muchly*.

I think they main reason they are getting rid of these things is because of the GO cutter. So many people are using the Go strip cutters and they are so much more accurate while cutting 9-15 strips with one pass through. Always something new for which the quilters can spend their money.

I bought one some time ago--also for $13. When I removed the shrink wrap the cutting side came unglued and we could not repair it. So, I finally 'donated' it to the garbage. Sure wish I could have save its life as it was the perfect size for taking with me when we go on vacation.

I was in walmart the other day and picked up 6 bolts of fabric solid colors for 1.50 a yard and I had to ask and she said that they were either getting ready for inventory and it wasn't on the list. Or they had to much of it.
I just bought and didn't ask any more questions so it could have something to do with inventory.
