Guess I'm a bit excited this morning. I looked at the quilt BEFORE I read your text and thought, "What a great stylized tree in bloom." Must admit, I didn't think cherry, probably because I don't get to see them often, but I certainly DID see the tree before you said it! I love it!

I see it. And with the given idea coming from the Mom I'll be she is really going to love it.
I agree with you, it is much easier to work on a quilt that you picked out the pattern than try to fit into some others mold. That being said I ask for some color ideas. sometimes so it will kinda fit. But quilts aren't always in the nursery and I find the simpler ones are used more and not saved. I like my baby quilts to be used.
