"Old West" goes to wagon trains and gun slingers, Marshall Dillon and Bonanza. "Spirit of the West" equates with strength, courage, tough times, perseverance, and love of the outdoors. (lol... I don't know how you are going to put any of that into a block, but that's what I think of. It would take a whole quilt! )

Let us know what you finally decide to make. I, for one, would like to see how it comes out.

hugs, Jupiter

Question: What does "Spirit of the West" mean to you? Looking to do a block and I am stumped. Done the wild animal blocks, elk, cabin with bear, eagle, buffalo, but they do not seem quite right. What else reminds you of the west?

If you haven't received a block from me: I'm praying that I'll get them all done this week or next. So you might get them a few days late. I count 32 envelopes waiting to be sewn

I've already marked those two off. let'squilt isn't participating and the Wanda123 hasn't got back to our moderator, I don't think.

So...that being said. I will mail out Scollard's tommorrow and that is it for me.

I will be starting official signups for 6 next week when I return from our Labor Day camping trip. I need a break from life and am hoping this will be it. Irene interrupted my trip last weekend so I sure hope this one is nice :)
Hugs
