Keep the ideas coming. Not sure what I'm doing yet, maybe some mug buckets, table toppers and runners.

My list of Christmas Ideas:
Daughters (3): placemats of their favorite fabric
Son & Daughter in law: lap quilt for the sofa, and finish my sons navy quilt.
12 grandchildren: undecided, just finish replacing their afghans they lost from Hurricane Katrina. Two grandsons not born until after Hurricane Katrina, one is getting a cowboy quilt.
Mother: apron
Dad: Finish his quilt I have been working on all year
Brother: He wants a lap quilt
Sisters: Table toppers

Wow!!! Need to hurry up and get busy.

Last year, I did a beach theme for the kids. I bought clearance beach towels, buckets, sunglasses, beach balls, etc and embroidered their name on the beach towel. They thought it was cool - especially in Iowa in the winter!

I made advent calendars for my grandsons. One was a tree and one was santa then starting on December 1st "Buddy Elf" puts prizes in the pockets until Christmas Eve. We do hot wheels, candy canes, etc. I hit the Dollar Tree up for cheap prizes. They love it.

I'm really surprised at the number of "newbies" out there. Quilting has really made a comeback! I'm loving it! Wait, I sound like a McDonald's commercial! But, really, I do love quilting. Can't get enough. I'm really going to miss my sewing machine while I am gone for 3 weeks on vacation.

I am doing a few small note book holders- I put little pad of paper and pen in it. Good for in purse or in car to hold everything in one place. Pot holders, 5x7 note book holder. Towels for the kids
with their names.
