I used fifteen fat quarters from Jinny Beyer. The strips you work with are all 9"x 20" and the number of strips depends on how many of the rows you want. It's similar to sewing a Log Cabin design but the rows run vertically. Thank you so much.

Yes, your French Braid is absolutely beautiful, great job. I've been looking a long time for a pattern/instructions to make one, might you be able to help me? Thank you so much! Lucille

Beautiful, I love Jinny's colors, which I had all of them.

The pattern is the French Braid and it is not difficult because, to me, it's a variation on the Log Cabin. You use 9" x 20" rectangles and with this one I used fifteen fat quarters. You create vertical rows with the setting triangles to square your quilt, so I think this is one of the easiest patterns I've ever worked with.

Thank you all for your lovely and supportive comments.

I promise to post all four of these wall hangings for the Board. You guys are inspiring me to move from my mundane (but happy) quilt projects to more adventurous ones. Again, many thanks.
