Aurifil. My machine is a thread snob. She (Janome 7700 Horizon) loves Aurifil, but acts up with other threads.

I'm with you MadQuilter. The Connecting Threads threads don't leave "fluff" on my machine. That says a lot!

Tristan Threads on the internet. I won't pay $11 a spool via a LQS for it...from Tristan it works out to be about $5 a spool.
I buy the door buster and grab bag sets of Aurifil from Tristan. The Genziana Cotton Mako is the very same as Aurifil and I buy that at Tristan's if it is on sale.

I order my aurifil from Sue's Sew EZ Designs www.sewezdesigns.com she has a sale right now for 7.00 a spool and she can ship several for 5.00. I just ordered Monday and got it Wednesday. She was recommended by someone on this board a year or so ago. Have been very pleased with her thread and the way she packages, sealed and very prompt.

Good Luck

Suzy
