Definitely a Log Cabin. My husband & I dream of moving to North GA and living in a log cabin.

I love this idea! Mine isn't really a quilt pattern, but it could be made into one. I'd use the Fibonacci sequence of numbers of to make a quilt pattern, (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 etc), because my life builds on the past, and my job is tutoring math. :)

I think that it would be a scrappy trip around the world because I am always going off in all directions. Short attention span. You would think at 76 yrs old I would have gotten over it. But I like the way I am and my 'kin folks' and friends around me don't sem to mind.

Is there anything out there called a roller-coaster ride?

Mine would be a sampler of sorts.
Each block would represent a chapter in my life and each block would be quite different.
I feel (not in a schizophrenic way) that over the course of my life, I've become/been a different person through out the chapters via the experiences I've had.

My 20 year old self would look at my now almost 42 year old self and probably be standing there with her jaw dropping to the floor, saying.. "You're kidding me, right?"

I would have to say a log cabin, ever since I can remember, I drempt about living in the mountain with a house and picket fence. Well DH and I live in Eastern AZ, mountainous area in a house with a fence around it. May not be a picket fence, but 2 out of 3 can't be bad. I love country and the the things associated with it.
