wow moonglow, what a sweet offer to gift some fabric. But... you will love paypal. It is easy to sign up for,is a safe way to pay for things over the internet, and no fees. you just link up the credit card and/or checking account that you will be paying with. you can also recieve money through your account. https://www.paypal.com/]https://www.paypal.com/[/url] It is a very popular way to pay/accept cash over the internet.

Omg it's by me! Wonder if I can pick up instead of shipping.
Got an email today and the sale is now .79 per FQ! I still don't know if I can pick up an order as I've emailed and no response. I will need to call first thing in the morning!

Hazel, I'm going to check out what our options are with Australia Post tomorrow so will let you know then.

Cheers
I spoke to a representative of Australia Post International Dept re some options for us and he advised me that it was illegal to send cash by post anywhere in the world. So that option is out. Other suggestions were bank draft (too expensive at $30+), Western Union also too expensive. So that leaves Paypal with which I am not familiar with so if somebody can enlighten me (us) how that works then that may be an option??? otherwise I fear that this exercise could be too cost prohibitive.

I am happy to 'gift' some fabric but the amount would depend on costs etc.
Paypal is really easy to set up, just go onto the paypal australia website it tells you how to do it!

To lil'snailquilts and beebs, I thank you for your suggestions and confidence in me being able to use Paypal. I'll give it a go and see what happens. Many thanks.

I called this morning and I can't pick up an order  But there are real people that do answer phone calls so if you place an order you can call and ask questions. Good luck if any one buys!

I just ordered 10 yards of a RJR red for backing on a couple quilts -- Thanks for the link -- I've never heard of them -- but at that price, how can I go wrong??

Wow! I would love some of them, (fingers and toes crossed).
I don't know why but I've had a passion for all things 'Maine' for as long as I can remember:roll: In fact I just received a windbell made in Maine from a little shop over here called the Bluebery Store, it's full of all things American.

Sue (aka rummage) x ;)
