OkieDee: I'm in McAlester, which is in the SE part of the state. We are known for our prison-Big Mac and our Italian food.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me.

Welcome from the middle of Oklahoma. Have been sewing all my life and quilting off and on for a number of years. Come in, have a cup of coffee and have fun.

welcome from ardmore, ok. i have met some of you okies but it would be nice to have a 'sit and sew' with any of you who are interested. i have enough quilt scraps to make qayg string quilts for probably half the okla population. all you would need to bring are scraps of batting and whatever fabric you want to use for backing and sashing. also, grab any scraps you want to bring and we will do some trading. i think it would be fun. depending on the number interested, i would try to find a place big enough for us to set our machines up. just pm me. looking forward to hearing 'yays' or 'nays'. johnnye
