My treadle is named Lizzie. My Brother is named Betty. The first one my mom's middle name is Elizabeth. The second one is after my cousin who taught me how to quilt and she passed away from cancer.

Betty Gee's Queen Bee, she even has a little name sticker on her so everyone knows. I name everything, my family gets a kick out of it and kids me about it. I even name each turkey we have on Thanksgiving. Last year's was Herbert and he was a mighty tasty fella.

I did the same thing. I have 2 Featherweights & the oldest one I named after my paternal grandma, is Anna, & the newer one after my maternal grandma, is Marie. They both raised large families & did all thier own sewing & knitting, & what ever else there was to do.
