Wow beautiful!!!!! The colors will pop. I made a bright throw quilt and it was so cheerful looking that I made another one in a differrent pattern for the back of a chair, Everyone that walks in loves them and the bright colors.. I think either way you go you will love it. Good luck

They are beautiful colors and the pattern goes so well with the colors. I would make as many as I need to finish to the appropriate size. Lot of work, but worth every stitch in the end. Youe will not be sorry. Please post when finished. :-D

The cornerstones should be dark as well - or incorporate them into the sashing strips. But they should just blend in.

So now there would be a chain of 5 turq's diamonds connecting in each direction.

That would also mask the fact of the sashing because it would be such a integral part of the pattern.
You couldn't tell the difference between the block and sashing components.

Does that make any sense?

Yes yes thats a great idea! I was going to just stick with the blocks because of the general concensus but this idea is worth looking into. Many thanks. I'll keep you updated so

The blocks are wonderful. Have you thought about setting them on point and using an additional fabric for the background? I think it would make the blocks pop.

I respectfully disagree about sashing. I love those 4 little squares in a row!!!!

1 vote for no center. All blocks quilt. It will be seen as a stunning unit. I do not think it will be "busy". Might even end up being your liv rm's focal point!

Love your colors. :-D

You could always make 2 quilts with this pattern. One with sashing and one without. :)
