Hi Gladys! Wow...Your block is just stunning! I wish I had thought of doing the chain stitch too....it looks just amazing! Thats what I love about these "group" projects...so many great ideas and ways to do the same pattern...its sooo much fun! Your quilt is gonna be gorgeous!

Thanks Gladys, thats a good link too. I'm using Ricky Timm's Razzle Dazzle thread (which was a HUGE mistake to try to hand sew with). I'll be honest, its such a pain to even do the stem stitch with it that the chain would be a nightmare! But...it sure looks great on your blocks.
