Love reading all these names and how you each came up with them. Mine is because Pink Dogwoods are my favorite flower...so I'm Pink Dogwood!

What an interesting post. Mine is for my favorite hobby and the beagle we adopted 10 years ago (sadly put down in July). I almost used the breed of our other dog but "Quiltlab" just sounded too scientific...

Not too creative, but my board name describes my quilting: I really am "slow to sew."

PolkaBabe --- In 1997 I drove from Colorado to Iowa to join in on a bus trip to Branson. A local Iowa band played at the polka festival. The bus driver started to call me Polka Babe. It caught on & has been that ever since, ei. e-mail adress.

I really like this one, Veronica! My grandkids call me "Nan". When I retired my sister-in-law said that I could finally learn to quilt. So mine became "NanQuilts".

What fun it's been getting to know the story behind the name!

Here's mine - You know how sometimes a song keeps repeating itself over and over in you head? That's what happened to me and "Sweet Lady Marmalade". Over and over, and over again....Then I started craving orange marmalade - and eating it on english muffins (still do). So the name marmalade was a natural and just stuck - lol!

My oldest DGD called me Nama as soon as she could talk. She would come in the sewing room with me when I sewed and watch me sew. When I got going real fast she would chant sew-nama-sew sew-nama-sew.....So when I needed a screen name many years ago it becameS SewNama

As others have said ... very interesting explanations. I've tried to guess but was always off base. No imagination on mine ... name plus birth year.
