My grandkids have a Granma and Poppy,Poppy and Judy, and I and my hubby are Gran and Granddad - they are lucky that even though I have remarried and so has my ex that they have 3 sets of grandparents but no great grandparents and I will be seeing them tomorrow

We're mostly called Grama Chris & PaPa to distinguish between the other grandparents that are still alive. Our one granddaughter calls the other grandparents Busha & GaGa (Polish)meaning Grama & Grampa . If there are many GP still alive & not to confuse the child then a grandparent can suggest a great name. No matter what they still know who you are. Have fun with it.:)

My grandkids all call me "granny" because when the first few were born they still had all of their great-grandparents and both my parents and my husbands. Talk about confusion! So "granny" it was as all the other grandparents didn't want to be called that ~ at least I knew whom they were wanting when they called "granny". I love the name.
