I have at least 2 dozen just on my neck alone. Yuck! So is New Skin the same as Skin Shield? It's a liquid bandage. Just paint it on & leave it? Once or multiple applications? I have to give that a try.

What would you ask for in Walmart?

Skin Tags have been around forever. I got rid of some by using a Bandaid ,put it on and forgot about .I figure cutting off the air supply is the reason. They are a living thing no air no live.

When I started getting skin tags I read they are viral, which is why they grow back when cut them off and why they tend to grow where your undergarments fit closest. Years ago I went to a Chinese doctor who said to tie them off with one of your own hairs (NOT string, etc) because the hair is part of your body and will be less toxic. It worked, but left a scar, so I've just learned to live with them.

Dermatend. It's a product I used to remove a "beauty mark" from my face. I followed the directions exactly and it worked. The packaging says it works on skin tags, too.

You can read reviews of Dermatend on amazon. One of the reviews gives a really detailed rundown of the process.

I didn't know skin tags were associated with aging. I thought it was strictly a skin rubbing on skin situation. Educational thread. Thanks.
