I have read through most of this thread and am excited by trying to come up with ideas for representing myself in a block. I would do this simply for myself and partake in a swap but I do love the idea people. Can't wait to see what people actually do. Also one of those that wishes I was more adventurous with my name but I have ideas all the same. Such as my name has a habit of making people sing that song from The Sound of Music 'How do you solve a problem like Maria'.

I like your's DogHouseMom. Very cute.

I like this idea but I have no idea how to make one up for mine. I'll have to think on this for awhile.

Of course the "sew" part is because I love to sew and the 1096 is the "ten code" for crazy at Reno Police Department. I recently retired after 25 years of being a police dispatcher so I thought using 10-96 fit me pretty well!!

Any one have any ideas?

if someone wants to swap -- then someone can start a new link for swapping id blocks.
i'm not going to swap my block, but i'll use it for my avatar for a while; i'll also probably use it to make myself a tote bag.
Judy, I can see your block looking like Dorothy in pigtails as in Wizard of Oz!!!

I'm thinking let's make a block however we want whatever size we want & start posting our pictures!!!! Do we want to post 'em here or do we want to start another thread????
i say post them here for fun! those who want to swap can start a thread, and i started a thread for those who want to make a quilt.
regardless --- i sure want to see everyone's blocks!
