Check into any Aussie members and maybe you can meet up or they can tell you about any quilt related happenings that you can go to. Have a wonderful visit with your family!

Wow, I am jealous! I have always wanted to go to Australia. When you get back, you must tell us all about it.

When I used to travel a lot, it used to take about 26 hours to fly to Heathrow from Kingsford Smith. It now only takes about 21. However, if you are not used to long hauls, I think it would be a good idea to think about a stop - over to help you with the jet lag. It would be time well spent in Singapore or Dubai, depending on which route you decide to take. Enjoy!

Not only will you be thrilled to see your family-- you will love the country and the people. But start saving your money as quilting goodies are expensive. I would consider checking and seeing if there is a quilt show while you are there. I got lucky and fell in love with their designs and ideas regarding quilting. They do a lot of shopping by websites as the country is so huge. Sidney has a few shops. You might also want to find a guild in your daughter's area to attend.l You will be welcome with open arms and lots of caring.

Keep us posted.
