I have the same thing but I have never used it. One day I will-it still intimidates me-I need to get me some plexiglass so I can put pantographs down if I want-I afraid I might drop my juki in the floor.lol

I had mine in a small room and put it corner to corner to get out to full lenght, and it worked great that way.

Well done you! I bought the Grace Queen quite recently and am having fun coming to terms with it - steep learning curve though. Like you I don't have a great deal of room - just enough to get round each end and to work front or back - but then, that's all I need really.

The only advice I can give is to practise, practise, practise. I started by trying it all out just using fabric I knew I'd not use for anything else. Then I bought a couple of baby panels in a sale and had a go with them. I'm now working on some charity quilts - again crib size. My first couple of efforts won't even make the charity shops(!), but I think I'm improving a bit now. Not sure when I'll progress to anything more precious though

There are lots of clips on uTube - do a search for short-arm quilting. These have been very useful.

One other tip - don't go too fast! I found quite a difference when I slowed it all down a bit. Good luck and do let us know how you get on.

I have the same setup except my frame is a Handi quilter. I have been trying to find a speed controller for the Juki. It goes so fast, it's like flying an airplane! There should be some videos on youtube to show you how to get started. Just remember practice, practice, and practice and when you think you're ready, practice some more! Have fun!!
