looks like a charity quilt made for 'quilts for kids'. some child probably recieved it while in the hospital. i have made several dozen myself. when making them for downy, they would like for you to put a label on them.

Wow.... a great mystery, I just love a great mystery, and it involves quilting! Keep us posted as the suspense is mounting for all of us!

sewNso, I think you're right! I recognize the pattern! I've made a few of those charity quilts for kids. This could be a part of the mystery being unraveled. Perhaps Martha Dorcas is actually the church women's circle, and they made charity quilts....in any event, this mystery have many pieces to the puzzle!

Maryanna, or they sat and sewed at the church for a project. made oddles of them. like the million pillow cases.

Try finding her thru spokeo.com. Just type in her name, city and state. If she still lives in that town it should pull up the info. Good luck, hope you find her.
