The group held its first meeting PT (post tornado) at Sew-Bee-It Quilt Shop in Ringgold, GA yesterday. It was an incredibly fun time with everyone so thankful to be back together and having some newcomers to welcome as well. We are blessed to have the shop back open and with a new, wide open layout with incredible fabrics as well as yarns and other supplies. The owner, Gloria, and all the staff are so warm and have worked theirselves silly getting everything just so. Of particular interest is a wall hanging by Maddie Kertay of a phoenix rising from the ashes with the shop name embellished on it.

Just wanted to share with you all. It was truly inspiring to see what everyone has accomplished. When I receive some pics, (I was too busy talking) I will post them.

But look out world, we are BACK!!!

So glad to hear that it is back open. I was through the area in Mid July and could hardly believe all the destruction that was still around. Wish I was still in the area to help celebrate the reopening of the store. It was and I am sure it still is a great place to shop. :thumbup: :thumbup:

This is a great group of ladies!!! I was blessed to be apart of a great group today. Sew Bee It is a fantastic shop with so many creative gals. I will look forward to meeting with the Modern Quilt Guild next month.
