    My old Janome
    My Bailey
    My grandma's Singer
Well, that's what I call them. I don't name my sewing machines, my cars or my livestock but I do have a really cute puppy named Mitzy! ;)

That's all? Gee, I have a way to go yet...I only have 7...One is out on loan, the smallest is a Singer toy machine, and the rest are Daisy Gail (my treadle), Harriet (Singer Golden Touch'N'Sew named after my mother, from whom I inherited her), Nancy (my New Home machine), Sweetie (a Brother...makes lovely buttonholes!), and Penny (my Pfaff 2038 Expression...don't ask me why...Penny just seemed to fit.) I haven't gotten around to naming the other two yet...All kidding aside, what kind of machines do you have? My dream is to one day find a Featherweight and give it to my sister as a thank you for putting up with me for a week each summer when I go west to visit! :-)

Singer 99k 1957.....Vincent (found him at a Vincent de Paul thrift shop)
Singer 99k knee lever 1951.....Shirley (matched the suburb I bought her from...very 50's)

I haven't actually named any of mine. But if the pets we had growing up are any indication they won't be very original. Our family had Fat Cat, Baby Kitty, Momma Kitty & White Kitty. Sam, the Golden Retriever, already had a name when we got him - otherwise he'd probably have been Big Yellow Dog. : )

I have only named my featherweight. I call her Pearl after my mom from whom I got my love of sewing which turned into my obsession called quilting...

My Viking is called the Husky Viking, as in, "see ya later honey, I'm spending the evening with my husky Viking."

My hobby quilter on the frame is called Betsy. She's temperamental. A friend suggested that I name her Betty, but that's my mil's name so she changed it to Betsy.
