Ok, first I will apologize for getting off topic here, but why do partial seams? I just love this quilt, but I have never done partial seams before and I am a bit intimidated..lol

It's a pattern called 'Basket Lattice'.

I, for one, am very glad these quilters are on the board and that they take the time to find patterns for the rest of us. I know it is time-consuming and I appreicate it. Sometimes, I am lucky enough to find a pattern on my own, but by the time I get back to the board, someone has already posted it. I am glad that there are those individuals on the board. Thank you for sharing with the rest of us -- we really do appreciate your hard work.

Same here. I understand the instructions, as far as they went, but didn't understand where to go after the first block was made. I didn't understand it's not being complete on the right side of the block or how you would tie into it. I would need more instructions. Ann in TN

There is a link if you click in the word "here" under the first picture.
Thanks for the pattern link! I think this would be a fun quilt to do ... and a good one to practice seam accuracy and straightness while mastering partial seams!

Wow! Thank you. I've been interested in this pattern as well but couldn't find anything for free. You're awesome!
