I am trying to do a version of the confetti style and end up with a applique that can go on a bed quilt. All of the instruction I have read have been for wall hangings. Do you also do bed quilts with your confetti? Your picture is very well done.

Hello there,
The only way you could make an entire bed quilt would be to create blocks that would then be joined together. I think that's called "quilt as you go". I could see that you could accomplish an applique piece. That would work. The problem with an entire bed quilt of this is that it would be very stiff and not snuggly at all. By the time you are done quilting these to death, there is no drape at all.

Videographers here at 4 PM to determine whether we can shoot the video here. Still cleaning. 3 1/2 hours to go. ARGGGGg. Actually I am stuffing everything that is on a flat surface into bags and boxes and cramming them into my guest room. I have discovered several things already that I had misplaced. I have the outline done for the video since this is really a class that I teach already. That was easy. Now I need to create samples for the video. Samples of all the stages. I'll be busy all weekend.

Good luck on your video. Will be waiting to rent or purchase it. My confetti quilt is actually a confetti applique for the center of the quilt. My concern was the cats and grandchildren that climb and bounce on the bed. I Think I solved the problem.
