I just got done browning swiss steak & put in crock pot w/mushrms & gravy, made rhubarb bars & creamed chicken. Now to vacuum, dust (maybe-I hate that job)sweep floors & wash them. On wed I made 2 Happy Halloween table runners so I suppose I have to actually work today. Smells nice in the house & the oven will keep the house toasty warm. We had it 30 degrees this morning & last night snow sleet, welcome Fall :)

Multi-tasking is the ONLY way I"m able to get any quilting done!
I wish I had a sewing room with a good padlock that would ensure that noone could get at me while I'm quilting but that will never happen. So, it is a constant series of interruptions mixed with very slow progress with whatever project I'm trying to make. I find that the only way to ensure some quiet time is to get up very early in the morning to quilt or go to bed after everyone else is already asleep. Hard at times but worth it to get some un-interrupted quilting time.

I multi-task when I do anything! I'm a nurse and a mom, so multi-tasking is part of my nature, lol (or should I say I'm female so it's part of my nature). My sewing room is in my laundry room so I'm always doing a load while sewing. Yesterday I put the phone on speaker and had a 40 min conversation with my mom while piecing.
