My cat, Homer, liked to lay behind my machine on the cabinet. Of course I had to watch his twitching tail! :-)

Several months ago I was at a home of an elderly woman to do some alterations on sight for her.
The cat was in everything- she stuck her nose in the scissors tried to catch the machine needle as it went up and down and so on. I finally had to tell the woman I couldn't do the alteration there unless the cat was shut out of the room. She still didn't seem to get it so I tok the stack home with me and turned an hour project into 2 long trips.
Love animal and their antics but that was too much

They have to be where the action is , mine layed on my sewing machine while I was on vacation according to my neighbor. They are diffinately funny little creatures.
