Nothing anyone says helps because you don't like the color, thus not going to like the quilt. Buuttttt, that said . . . it is going to be beautiful and I for one . . . LOVE IT!

The various black and white patterns help tone the red ones down. Sorry it's giving you so much trouble. Just keep in mind who you're making it for.

I like what you are doing and agree that it is difficult to summon up the effort when the colours really aren't you. You are doing something very nice for your son though so keep up the good work. They will love you all the more for it. I really like it.

I LOVE LOVE it! I love red black and white! I really like the black and white fabrics you used. The red gives it a great punch of color. It's going to be a beautiful quilt!
