What a great birthday gift! If you don't find a use for some of the material, I would be willing to discuss purchasing some of it. I belong to a non-profit organization that makes lap quilts for homeless kids and kids that re in foster care. There is a particular need to boy material.I would be willing to pay for shipping, if it's reasonable. Will be using the qaug method using 2 1/2" or 3" strips. Can also use batting and will probably use some of our sheets for backing.
thank you for your consideration of donating the fabric you don't think you will be using.
Blessing, Valerie

I know I'm late on this topic but Good Lord, does he realize how much money you saved?

He hasn't quite accepted it mentally. Plus, we plan to move in a couple of years and downsize since all of the kids have moved out. Space may be an issue.

Tell him fabric is much cheaper than paying for therapy or a divorce.
Especially when the fabric was free!

I use fusible fleece in some of the tote bags and purses that I make. It works really well.
