What beautiful work and I like the pink binding idea. Don't want anything to take away from such gorgeous work.

Pink border would be nice and delicate!

I think a very small green sashing would make each basket stand out....or "pop". Then do your binding in the same green without a border so as to not make the quilt any bigger than you want it. Good luck. Your baskets are beautiful.

Gorgeous work !
I'd do a small "30's green" sashing, it would set the blocks and accent them. You could do pink posts at the intersections. IMHO, pink sashing will make it a really PINK quilt. But I'm a green person so ... :)

I like the idea of setting them on point-don't think you really need to add a border.

Each one is so beautiful. Yes, I agree with Grama. They should be set on point so that each basket is shown upright. Please let us see the results when finished

Here are a couple of pics of my quilts where I set the blocks on point and did some piecing in the alternate squares. I have a personal thing about representational blocks being in an upright position. That's just me, as you know, they are tons of basket quilts out there that are "tipped"

basket blocks set on point, the butterfiles didn't bother me because they fly around in all directions
