I like it both ways...but without and do an inner border of white, or a color, then piano key outer border?

I like sashing, but if it were my quilt, I would go for that orange? in the center of the block or something in that color line. Not too fond of the white. Very nice use of the D9P. Will be pretty no matter how you do it.

IT IS WHATEVER YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT. I PERSONALLY DON'T CARE FOR LIGHT SASHING, TRY A DARKER SHADE AND THEN SEE BUT I LIKE IT W/O SASHING TOO. IT IS YOUR MASTERPIECE. THIS WAS MY PROBLEM WITH THE FIRST QUILT I MADE, I CHANGED FROM LIGHT SASHING TO A REDDISH BACKGROUND WITH WHITE PIN DOTS IN IT. AND I THINK I HAVE HAD PIN DOTS IN EVERY THING SINCE.
IT IS WAS WHAT WAS RIGHT FOR ME NOW WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU.
