Funny....I don't hear anyone complaining. I just hear my friends telling me about their day... good and bad. What are friends for if not to listen....

Just my way of looking at it.

QB...love y'all

I went to this thread first because I also thought someone was going to be talking about carp fishing, after all the walleye tournament just ended here! LOL I really think that most of the talk on the board is very upbeat and even when you are in one where there is complaining going on someone will always have a posititve comment to make. I think you just have to look for the good and let the negative go, life is to short to dwell on it.

Here's a little e-mail that I post at my office desk as a daily reminder of just how blessed I am:

Say it with me…. Today, I won’t complain.
It is true that there are things in my life,
which cause me pain and distress.
I won’t complain.

I am not where I want to be but,
I am not where I used to be either.
I won’t complain.

I have suffered through many nights
of discontent on my journey.
I won’t complain.

I have been called everything but a child of the King.
I won’t complain.

I have been my own worst enemy
with poor choices and bad decisions.
I won’t complain.

My get up and go, got up and went a long time ago.
I won’t complain.

God has just been too good in spite of all the challenges.
I have been sustained and weathered many a storm.
Thanks to His outpouring of grace and mercy.
Instead of worrying about what and who I don’t have
I will be grateful for what and who I do have.
Today, I won’t complain.

You must be subscribed to another Quilting Board then the one I'm on. I've found people to be helpful and very supportive of each other.

My DH had cardiac arrest. Came back from it after ten minutes of CPR and being shocked by the paddles 8 times. I tell you Iit made a difference in how much I appreciated having him for six more years.

I thought this was about fishing at first. Looked at the name and it was from Froggy so I put 2 & 2 together and got zip. I personally do not find this board to be negative. Sure, some people need to vent occasionally but it's not that bad. I can always just click away from anything I don't like. And I find that the moderators delete the really negative stuff for me. I have wanted to correct people when they spell boarders, but I never have. (BTW, it's borders.) People are human, we take them or we leave them.

We will all live longer if we think and act positively! I want to live and think that way! Have a great day!
