Our 5 year old grandson saved his Daddy's life. Our son-in-law is a diabetic and our grandson saw the symptoms that Daddy was crashing. First he went to get him a soda and when that didn't work he went in to get the nurse who takes care of his special needs sister. Mom had just left the house before this happened. The paramedics could not get a reading on him when they arrived. Angels take many forms and God was looking out for this family.

Yesterday I was really happy to spend the day with my family - my husband made dinner and cooked some absolutely yummy homemade pizza. So nice to get a break from cooking!

Today has only just started, but I have already enjoyed a rejuvenating shower, a good cup of coffee, and the message boards... no complaints yet!

My daughter & her family have moved in temporarily while they remodel their home. We are now 9 instead of 2. They are very much self sufficient, but when my 15 yr. old grandson said, "Nana, we are going to miss you when we move home. Maybe you should come with us." PURE JOY!... They only live 10 mins. away & we are staying here :-)

I was thrilled my Dad was able to pick my up when my van's engine decided to throw a temper tantrum this morning. Thank goodness he was around. I was able to take my son to school but the van gave it up in the school parking lot.

I went to the "Outdoor Country Market" and got a Butternut Squash and I made that fantastic soup from the recipe I got here. My house smells delightful and the soup is delicious!

My children and grandchildren are arriving in 2 days to spent 2 weeks with me! What is more fun than an almost 4 year old and almost 2 year old!
