My daughter and I each have one. My Daughter used the red on a red work quilt. Her work table is in the sunshine in front of a window. When she finished the quilt and washed it the red marking wouldn't come out. She took it back to the shop and they said that it was permanite and wouldn't come out.
So we don't use any more. Maybe it got set because of the sunshine?
So be careful using this chalk it just might not come out.

Yup, have one and use it all the time. Works like a charm.

I have it but have never used anything but the white. I have a friend who use the green and could not ever get it out of the fabric. Regretfully she did not test it first.

They are a great tool. I've always been told NOT to use the yellow because it doesn't always come out when washed. So I threw mine away. Don't want to ruin a quilt over a little chalk. Better safe than sorry. Wonderful find. Congrats.

I got mine at JoAnn's. Like others have experienced, the yellow can be very hard to get out, especially from white fabric. Pink is not that great either. Best to test them all and throw out the ones that leave color behind after washing.
